TCL at CES 2022: 98-inch 4K QLED TV and four new soundbars

TCL has expanded its XL Collection 4K QLED TV series with a huge 98-inch model. The company also unveiled four TCL Alto soundbars, which are capable of providing a deeper immersion when watching video content on the new TV.




TCL 98 "CLASS XL Collection 4K QLED (98R754) received a screen with a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels and a variable refresh rate in the range from 48 to 120 Hz. The matrix of the novelty displays 1.07 billion colors, and also supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10 + and HLG technologies. In addition, the new TV features Contrast Control Zone for increased contrast and AiPQ Engine, which intelligently enhances the picture - both work automatically.

The sound in the TCL 98 "CLASS XL Collection 4K QLED is answered by two 15-watt speakers and a 20-watt subwoofer. The set of device interfaces includes a Wi-Fi 6 module, four HDMI ports, two USB 2.0, a 3.5mm audio jack, and Ethernet The new TV will provide smooth picture quality with Natural Motion 480 technology, and support for a voice assistant will enable hands-free operation.

TCL's new products also include four soundbars. Two of them are presented as part of the Alto 9 series (5.1.2 and 7.1.4) and received support for Dolby Atmos, DTS: X, DTS Play-Fi, RayDanz and Dolby Vision, as well as the ability to connect to Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, etc. apps like Spotify. The younger versions represent the Alto 7 line (3.1 and 5.1). They support DTS: X technology. There is no information about the price and availability of the new soundbars yet.
